Softball / Baseball Fields

Thanks to a generous contribution by alumna Margaret Pickett Sagan ’48 and other alumni and friends, a softball field is currently under construction, which will bring Bishop softball back to campus for the first time since it was reinstated as a varsity sport in 2000. Located next to Littick Field along Henry Street, Margaret Sagan Field will be completed by spring season 2008. The new field will have an irrigation system, press box, fencing, a concession kiosk, and equipment storage to be shared with the baseball field.

The existing baseball field, Littick Field, will be outfitted with the same amenities as the softball field with public restrooms available nearby for the first time at the new natatorium and indoor turf facility. In addition, the dugouts, press box, and stands will be upgraded.
